to peel a potato; you hold the potato in one hand, in my case the left, firmly but light enough so you can turn it. then in your other hand you take the peeler &run it across the potato. then once this side is done, turn it &do the other. then when you are done with the potato you get a false sense of achievment. set potato down and realize you'll never be done; everyday your goal is to get as many potatoes peeled as you can. at first you're ambitious; thinking "today is the day i get done" but one day you break. then the only thing left is the sad day you accept this existance.
